You have some paperwork to deal with, you need to fill out some form or spreadsheet and format the data in some particular way? However the input from your customers is not formatted. Or you get some text from a system like a log file or alert email and you need to put it into a document or report but don’t want to spend the next 100 hours formatting it because the person who created the alert thinks all caps is a good idea!

The text robot automatically converts text from one format to another format and solves these sorts of problems. Its available as a website and soon as an application for windows 8. Just drop the text into the box, select the conversion your looking for and press convert. The output is displayed below.

  1) Upper case: All lower case characters are converted to uppercase.

    Sample “test” = “TEST”

  2) Lower case: All upper case characters are converted to lowercase.

    Sample “Test” = “test”

  3) Proper case: The first letter for each word or text fragment is converted to uppercase

    Sample “test test test” = “Test Test Test”

  4) Sentence case: The first word or a sentient is converted to uppercase

    Sample “hello everyone. this is a test.” = Hello everyone. This is a test.

  5) Alphabetical Order: The text is broken into a list of words sorted alphabetically
